Bing Webmaster Center like google webmaster but not

"Bing Webmaster Center is a search service as part of Microsoft's Bing search engine which allows webmasters to add their websites to the Bing index crawler. The service also offers tools for webmasters to troubleshoot the crawling and indexing of their website, sitemap creation, submission and ping tools, website statistics, consolidation of content submission, and new content and community resources"

Near identical to google web master, (but i use my hotmail login)

Finally M$ have got their butts in gear and provide some tools for their search.

it took me 20 seconds to aim them at my sitemaps(xml) and it good to go.

Thanks to engadget for this one .. I love Chinese ripoffs. They are done with such style and panache. Names such as Barakberry or Barakoberry or Barakaberry spring to mind for this !! Not only will he save the world, but he'll save our tech as well !!

Wanna install Win7 from a USB stick?

Follow one of the really complicated guides on the internet. Or you can use the UNetbootin - Universal Netboot Installer - http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net. Download the tool, point it at the ISO file, tell it where the USB stick is, sit back, then restart and boot from the stick to start the installer. Best to make sure there is nothing on the stick you want to keep first! As always, any instructions on the blog are at the users' own risk.

Iphone software version 3.0 is out - Oh wait not just yet

I attach my iPhone to my PC .. load up Itunes .. and wohoo.. there is a message telling me a new software release is ready for download. The download completes within 5 minutes and I think to myself "ready to rock ". I take a backup, and click update . The software unpacks .. and gets ready to install . Contacting Activation server is the message I see .. then "The iPhone cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone activation server is temporarily unavailable " .. WTF.. I have been attempting this for the past half hour with the same results.

Seriously Apple.. What the f%^k are you thinking ?? I am sure you provided extra bandwidth to cope with the downloads of the software .. but really .. no one thought that the activation servers would be getting hammered ?? Come on !! I would have thought they would have learned their lessons from the initial iPhone release dates and that having made such a hoo haa about this new software update, would have taken every step to ensure my "Jesus" phone ( as some friends call it ) would be able to complete said upgrade hassle free.

For a company that prides itself on its ease of use in terms of their whole hardware/software platforms.. they have dropped the ball on this one. I will no doubt get the new software eventually installed, but having to wait because some shitty activation server cant cope with the load is not the best way to prove your leetness.
